Preparations necessary for hydroponic cultivation

(For vegetables) are lettuce, a styrofoam box with a lid, liquid fertilizer, and a sponge (or cotton).

The use of a styrofoam  box is because it has an excellent thermal insulation effect.

Styrofoam boxes sold for hydroponic cultivation have a 2cm hole in the  lid at intervals of about 10cm.

If you haven’t prepared a box like this , you’ll need to make a hole in the lid of the box so you can plant  it.

Let’s plant lettuce in a box.

First, remove the lettuce seedlings from the pot, shake off the soil, and wash the roots thoroughly with water.

At this time , be careful not to hurt the roots.

After wrapping the boundary between the root and the apricot with a sponge, put the lettuce in the hole made in advance.

Fill the box with 4/5 water

Mix liquid fertilizer. The amount used is as indicated on the surface, but for seedlings, once a month,   When the lettuce grows, it is appropriate to give it once every 15 days.

Key points for hydroponic cultivation

  • When the water becomes cloudy, completely change the water and wipe the container clean.

If the environment permits, it is also possible to install a device that can supply oxygen into the water.

It’s a great way to see plants for a long time.

  • The greatest enemy of hydroponic cultivation is moss. When moss gets stuck in a transparent container like glass,
  •    In severe cases,  plant growth is poor. Therefore, in the case of hydroponics for decoration.
  •    It is better to place it in a place outside of the room out of direct sunlight than to put it near the window, and to contemplate it.

If you use a medium coated with charcoal or charcoal, such as activated carbon, moss is relatively small.

Moss removal is also effective, but if the concentration is darker than the regulation, it may damage plants  .

When it is necessary to share giving up because of good growth, give up from the root.

If you take it out of the water, divide the root properly with your hands or scissors, and remove the agi, you can easily divide it.

Hydroponic cultivation of Radish, 6 ways to success:

1). Pour water, just to the root

Put the plant for hydroponic cultivation in a container and pour it so that it only reaches the root when pouring water.

If you pour water all the way up the stem, the shortcut to failure

2. Use water from the cold season

  •    Do not use tap water immediately, but use it after receiving it for half a day.
  •    It can evaporate chlorine gas, a tap water disinfectant,
  •    Because the cold water immediately received is full of cold and does not help plant growth.
  •    Replenish only the amount of evaporated water

3). Ventilation is more important than sunlight

  •    In hydroponic cultivation, artificial lighting such as a fluorescent lamp is sufficient for light.
  •    The important thing is that it grows smoothly at room temperature, except for temperature and          ventilation, and winter
  •    Provide clean air by providing frequent ventilation.

4). If you are laughing, move it to a flowerpot.

Hydroponic cultivation is mainly placed indoors where it is not exposed to sunlight, so it is easy for plants to grow out of sunlight due to lack of sunlight.

In this case, leave it in the sun for a while or move it into a flowerpot and gradually adapt it to the sun.

Afterwards, manage to get enough sunlight.

5). When the leaves fall off or turn yellow, use nutrients.

  • The leaves turn yellow or fall because the temperature or humidity is not well suited.
  • Spray the leaves and stems from time to time to adjust the humidity and put them out in the sun from time to time.
  • When the roots and leaves of the plant are in poor condition, concentrated liquid fertilizer can be used.
  • Just one drop per month is enough.

6). Pretty stone, wash well and put in

  • Several types of stones appearing to fix flowers for hydroponics
  • Usually, white stones are the prettiest, and there are also dark jade stones and black stones.
